Wellness Recovery Retreat · Cyberjaya

A quiet place to begin again.

Salus is a residential retreat for people who need time, rest and a clinical team behind them. Led by the people who built Solace Asia.

Some seasons of life ask more of us than we can carry alone. Salus offers time away from the noise, a calm place to stay, and a team who know how to help, so that you, or someone you love, can recover with dignity and return to life steadier than before.

For yourself, or for someone you are worried about.

The stay

Rest. Restore. Return.

Rest

Rest

A private, comfortable residence in a garden setting. Quiet rooms, nourishing meals and a gentle daily rhythm that gives the body a chance to settle.

Restore

Restore

One-to-one sessions with a psychologist or counsellor, small-group work and medical oversight from a team that has done this for more than a decade.

Return

Return

Sessions with family, a clear plan for going home and continued support after you leave. Recovery is a return, not a departure.

The programme

How we work

We look at the whole person, not a single problem.

Every guest is understood across four dimensions: the body, the mind, their relationships and what gives their life meaning. Therapy is matched to each person from the assessments made on arrival, drawing on SFBT, CBT, REBT, motivational interviewing and trauma-focused work, and adapted to Malaysian life and culture.

01

Body

Medical review, sleep, nutrition and movement.

02

Mind

Thinking patterns, mood and the habits that hold them in place.

03

Relationships

Family, work and the people who will be there afterwards.

04

Meaning

Faith, purpose and the reasons to keep going.

Six dimensions. One recovery prescription.

The Social Prescription Model

Built on social prescribing. Evolved for recovery.

Most treatment stops at the clinic door. Ours does not. Alongside clinical care, every guest has a Recovery Link Worker who writes a second prescription: real activity, real people and real routine across six dimensions of wellbeing, practised inside a living community rather than a closed ward.

01

Clinical prescription

Therapy, family work, recovery planning and medical care from qualified professionals.

02

Living prescription

A co-written plan of activity and community participation, each entry with a need, a purpose and a measurable outcome.

Quality care should never be a privilege. It should be something a family can reach.

Dr Prem opened Malaysia's first private residential recovery centre in 2014. Salus is his answer to a question he has been asked for a decade: how do we make that standard of care reachable for more families?

What we help with

For when life has become hard to manage.

For families

Often it is a family member who calls first.

If you are reading this for someone you love, you are not alone and you are not overreacting. We will help you understand what is happening, what the options are and how to have the conversation.

Questions

What people ask us.

How long does a stay last?

The programme is 90 days. Research consistently shows that stays of at least three months give the best chance of lasting change, and the plan within those 90 days is shaped around each guest.

What does it cost?

RM7,000 per month, all-inclusive: accommodation, meals, medical oversight, individual and group therapy, family sessions and aftercare. There are no hidden extras, and we will talk through payment plans openly.

Is Salus a hospital?

No. Salus is a residential retreat with medical oversight. Guests live in comfortable private accommodation with a daily programme of therapy, rest and activity. Where hospital care is needed, our medical team arranges it.

What is included?

Accommodation, meals, medical supervision, individual and group therapy, family sessions, wellness activities and a structured aftercare plan.

Is it confidential?

Completely. We do not share who has enquired or stayed with us, with anyone, without your consent.

Can family be involved?

Yes, and we encourage it. Family sessions, education and regular updates are part of the programme, at a pace the guest is comfortable with.

What happens after the stay?

Continued counselling, support groups and a clear plan for the months after leaving. We stay in touch.
